Dave Gershman

Dave Gershman is a seasoned professional in international fisheries conservation and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Senior Officer at The Pew Charitable Trusts since November 2024, Gershman has extensive experience in various roles focused on marine conservation, including positions at The Ocean Foundation and multiple appointments at The Pew Charitable Trusts. Gershman began a career in environmental communication as a Media Relations Contractor with the National Wildlife Federation and has contributed to marine resource management through positions at the U.S. Department of State and NOAA. With a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brandeis University and a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan, Gershman combines a robust academic background with practical experience in policy development and media engagement.
