Susan Thronson

Susan Thronson is a member of the PFLAG Palm Springs/Desert Communities (CA) chapter where she supports its transgender outreach initiative. Since 2012, she has served on the PFLAG National Board in various roles, including Board Secretary and Nominating Committee Chair.

Professionally, Susan is an experienced independent corporate board director with a global digital, ecommerce and loyalty marketing expertise. She draws upon her 24-years experience in a Fortune 200 global hospitality organization. While SVP/Global Marketing at Marriott International, she had responsibility for integrated business strategies to acquire customers and generate revenue for a diversified portfolio of 17 brands and engagement platforms such as its perennial best-in-industry loyalty program.
