Barun Maskara

Barun Maskara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Currently serving as Senior Principal at PharmaACE since 2024, Barun also advises at SevenTrainVentures. Previously, Barun held the position of Senior Manager at Monitor Deloitte from 2021 to 2023, where responsibilities included acting as a thought partner for commercial leaders and leading project teams to address complex issues through data analytics and market research. At ZS from 2014 to 2021, Barun focused on developing sales and marketing strategies for clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. Prior roles include Principal Scientist at Boston Scientific Corporation, where Barun was recognized as a leading innovator, and Consultant at the US Food and Drug Administration. Barun possesses an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
