Lars Christensen

Lars Christensen is a seasoned medical and corporate executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Board at Pharmacosmos since July 2022, Lars previously held the role of CEO at the same company from July 1977 to May 2022, where expertise in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia and manufacturing carbohydrate polymers was demonstrated. Earlier in Lars's career, positions included International Medical Director at SPA - Società Prodotti Antibiotici and Medical Manager at Lundbeck, beginning with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1968.
