Phibion Pty Ltd is an Australian based environmental technology company that manages the operation and closure of tailings dams and dredge impoundments to reduce costs and reduce environmental risk. 

We are experts in the application of Accelerated Mechanical Consolidation (AMC) using the MudMaster® (Amphirol) as a "Best Available Technology"​ (BAT) to dewater slurried materials to high density and strength. Rapidly recovering water and increasing the strength and density of deposited tailings or dredged materials reduces environmental risk, capital cost and closure cost. This approach is a low-cost alternative to capital intensive filtration or centrifugation and allows in-situ densification of a facility without capital expenditure.

With over 150,000 hours of operational performance and an unblemished safety record, this revolutionary process now manages over 35 million tonnes of tailings and dredged materials globally per annum and is rapidly expanding.
