Travis Parman

Travis Parman serves as the Chief Communications Officer for the U.S. at Philip Morris International since October 2023, having previously held the same title at AppHarvest from November 2020 to September 2023, where Parman was instrumental in the company's founding and its thought leadership campaign focused on sustainable agriculture. Prior to AppHarvest, Parman was the Chief Communications Officer at Nissan Motor Corporation from 2018 to October 2020, overseeing global and regional communications. Parman's extensive background also includes senior communications roles at Groupe Renault, Nissan North America, PulteGroup, Ally Financial, General Motors, and Lockheed Martin, demonstrating a strong track record in corporate communications, media strategy, and crisis management. Parman holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating magna cum laude.
