Austin T. Ray

Austin T. Ray is a litigation attorney who represents individuals and both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of civil litigation matters.

Austin graduated second in his class at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, earning membership in The Order of the Coif. During law school, he received numerous honors, including four American Jurisprudence awards, the prestigious Comfort Scholarship, and a Distinguished Speaker award. Austin focused his legal curriculum on advanced research, business law, and oil and natural gas law.

While maintaining outstanding scholastic achievement, Austin carried leadership responsibilities in respected student organizations. He served as Articles Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review, Problem Writing Director for the Board of Advocates, President for the Business Law Society, and Treasurer for the Federal Bar Association Student Division. Additionally, Austin accepted an administrative nomination to serve on the Council on Academic Responsibility during his final year of law school.

Austin’s commitment to the study of law afforded him esteemed career-building opportunities, including internships for the Honorable Judge Robert E. Bacharach of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Honorable Justice Noma D. Gurich of the Oklahoma Supreme Court.

After law school, the Oklahoma Supreme Court promoted Austin to a staff attorney role where Austin co-authored ten judicial opinions and became active in the Oklahoma County Bar Association.
