James Joy

James Joy currently serves as the Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, and Activities Director at Phoenix High School within the Phoenix-Talent Schools, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this, James Joy worked at Medford School District from October 2015 to July 2024 as both an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, along with a role as a Health & Physical Education Instructor. Earlier in their career, James Joy was the Athletic Director and a Teacher/Coach at St. Mary's School of Medford from January 1993 to October 2015. Additionally, James Joy served as a Camp Coach for Guy Enriques Team Volleyball Camps from 1999 to 2014. James Joy holds a Master of Education from Southern Oregon University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Lifetime Fitness from the same institution.
