Patricio Fuentes

Patricio Fuentes is a Quantum Error Correction Researcher at Photonic Inc. since January 2023, following a postdoctoral research role at Tecnun - University of Navarra from May 2019 to December 2022, where research focused on quantum error correction (QLDPC codes). Prior academic experiences include a PhD dissertation in Quantum Error Correction at Tecnun, a Master's thesis as a Visiting Research Student at Queen's University, and a Bachelor's thesis on BER predictions for LDPC Codes. Patricio completed a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Navarra and obtained a Master's degree in Applied Science, also in Telecommunications Engineering. Further education includes a Tecnun Program at IESE Business School in Human Resources Management. Early experiences include serving as a camp counselor and a student intern at Ceit-IK4, where analytical skills were developed in Power Line Communications systems.
