Elenora Connors

Elenora (Nora) Connors currently serves as Deputy Vice President at PhRMA, a position held since July 2023. Formerly, Nora was the Director of Federal Government Affairs at Novartis from March 2018 to August 2023 and held similar roles at the Public Health Institute from August 2015 to March 2018, where Nora advocated for health priorities in Washington, DC. Previous experience includes serving as a Principal at Podesta Group, Health Policy Advisor to Senator Dianne Feinstein in the U.S. Senate, and as a Legal Fellow at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. Nora's legal and health policy expertise has been shaped by various pivotal roles, including participation in the Department of Health and Human Services Obama/Biden Transition Team and internships at the CDC and Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services. Nora holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Masters of Public Health from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, complemented by a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Macalester College.
