Rachel Weissman

Rachel Weissman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy and research within the health sector. Currently serving as Senior Director at PhRMA since January 2018, Rachel has held various leadership roles, including Director and Senior Manager in policy and research. Prior experience includes a role as Policy and Advocacy Manager at Research!America, where Rachel provided analysis on domestic policy issues, liaised with member organizations, and supervised the creation of advocacy materials. Rachel also led the Waltham Group at Brandeis University, overseeing numerous community service programs and receiving notable awards for significant contributions. Holding an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science from Brandeis University, Rachel combines a strong educational background with substantial hands-on experience in medical and health research advocacy.
