Simone Thomsen

Simone Thomsen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Japan Executive Committee Chairwoman and Vice Chair at PhRMA since January 2021, and as a Governor of the Kansai Chapter on the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan since December 2019. At Eli Lilly and Company, Simone has held various senior positions since April 2008, including Group Vice President and President of Eli Lilly Japan K.K. In previous roles, Simone has served as International Marketing Leader for Cardiology and National Sales Director for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Prior to joining Eli Lilly, Simone worked at Fresenius Kabi and Fresenius Group in key management positions. Simone holds a degree from NIMBAS, Bradford - Graduate School of Management.
