Roberto Kern

Roberto Kern is a co-founder at Something New since September 2024, bringing extensive experience as an investor and builder from Picus Capital, where responsibilities included supporting founders in the US and Latin America from 2022 to 2024. Prior to this role, Roberto Kern contributed to the establishment of finn.auto's US operations in 2021, having been the first employee in the country and reporting directly to the CEO. Earlier experience includes early-stage investing at Picus Capital from 2020 to 2021, management consulting at McKinsey & Company in 2019, and roles at The Wharton School and the Boston Consulting Group in 2018. Roberto Kern holds bachelor's degrees in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, as well as in Consumer Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, respectively, along with an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Lima.
