Stephen Ashley

Stephen Ashley is a partner in the Capital Markets practice at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP since November 2020, specializing in representing issuers and underwriters in various capital markets transactions, including IPOs and debt offerings. Previously, Stephen held the position of partner and of counsel at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from December 2011 to November 2020. Stephen's earlier career includes roles as a senior associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where expertise was developed in the Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions groups, as well as summer associate positions at reputable firms. Stephen earned an LL.B (Honours) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a BCom (Honours) from The University of British Columbia.
