Diego Betancourt

Diego Betancourt, CFA, has over a decade of experience in the finance industry, primarily with PIMCO since January 2012. In the role of External Account Manager for Retirement Sales in the Southeast Region, Betancourt has successfully managed client relationships and contributed to sales strategies. Previous positions at PIMCO include Senior Associate for Retirement Sales (DCIO) and Internal Sales for Global Wealth Management, as well as serving as a Sales Desk Specialist in the Portfolio Analytics Group. Before PIMCO, Betancourt worked as an Internal Sales representative at Legg Mason from December 2010 to December 2011. Betancourt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College, obtained in 2009.
