Martin Phillips

Martin Phillips has extensive experience in global Total Rewards, People Operations, and analytics, currently serving as the Global Head of Total Rewards at PIMCO since October 2019, where leadership of a 35-member team supports compensation, benefits, payroll, and analytics for 3,500 employees across 17 countries. Prior to PIMCO, Martin held significant roles at Apollo Global Management Inc. as MD and Global Head of Total Rewards & People Analytics, and at The Blackstone Group as SVP and Head of Compensation and Benefits. Martin’s career also includes leadership positions at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, focusing on compensation strategies and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Martin holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of North Texas.
