Gazi Jarin

Gazi Jarin is a Software Engineer II at Pinterest since May 2024, focusing on analytics and big data infrastructure. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Development Engineer II and Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from July 2022 to May 2024, working on the Route 53 DNS service. Gazi has also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto under Professor Marsha Chechik in 2021, exploring privacy goals using NLP related to health regulation PHIPA. Additional experience includes an Associate Engineer position at Wattpad from May 2020 to April 2021, and a Software Engineer Intern role at Orange Gate Labs in 2019, where Gazi developed a Node.js smart home system.
