Lucy Abreu

Lucy Abreu, SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Member of Pipeline Angels since February 2024, Lucy is dedicated to supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs in securing funding. As Executive Vice President at Syneos Health Communications since July 2019, Lucy leads a team focused on internal communications, public relations, DEI, and social impact initiatives, and has launched an AI Task Force and DEI Think Tank. Prior roles include Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies, where Lucy implemented a new corporate brand strategy, as well as leadership positions at BlackRock, Johnson & Johnson, and CNN. Lucy holds a Master’s degree in Print Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Rutgers University.
