Jon Petree

Jon Petree is currently the Director of Business Development at PitchBook. Jon has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on consulting and trading.

Jon started their career at Merrill Lynch as a Summer Portfolio Analyst. Jon then interned at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in their summer sales program. After graduation, they joined Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. as an Account Executive in their financial institution division. In 2009, Jon left Arthur J. Gallagher to join M&N Trading as a Global Fixed Income Trader. Jon traded treasury/eurodollar spreads for two years before joining Riskcare in 2011 as a Business Development Consultant. Jon has been with PitchBook since 2013 and is responsible for their business development initiatives.

Jon Petree attended Hinsdale Central High School and then completed their undergraduate studies at Purdue University, where they earned a BS in Economics / Spanish Language and Literature.
