Charley Ruddell

Charley Ruddell is a seasoned music critic with extensive experience contributing to various prominent publications. Since June 2019, Ruddell has been producing music criticism and features on local artists for WBUR's arts and entertainment vertical, The ARTery. Ruddell has also been a contributing writer for Pitchfork, Aquarium Drunkard, Reverb, and ThrdCoast, focusing on album reviews, artist features, and interviews. Prior experience includes writing for iZotope, Inc. and WGBH, along with curating monthly album reviews for Collective Arts Brewing. Ruddell holds a degree from Berklee College of Music, attended from 2010 to 2014, and completed secondary education at Tunkhannock Area High School from 2006 to 2010.
