Elise Matthews

Elise Matthews is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Group Finance Manager at PizzaExpress since October 2021, having previously held the role of Group Finance Analyst. Prior experience includes positions as Audit Supervisor and Trainee Chartered Accountant at haysmacintyre from January 2017 to October 2021, and as a Cash Support Clerk at RBS Invoice Finance between August 2013 and September 2015. Elise also has a notable background in performance, being a member of the award-winning acrobatic group Spelbound, with performances that included the Olympic Closing Ceremony in 2012 and The Royal Variety Show in the same year. Furthermore, Elise was a competitive Sports Acrobatic Gymnast representing Great Britain and trained extensively with British Gymnastics from 2005 to 2014. Elise holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Surrey.
