Neil McAlpine

Neil McAlpine is a seasoned professional in transport planning with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Transport Planning at PJA since November 2024, Neil previously held the position of Director of Transport and Movement Planning at LUC from November 2021 to November 2024. Prior to that, Neil was the Director of Transportation at Cundall from January 2014 to November 2021, and also worked at JMP Consultants Ltd as a Senior Planner from October 2006 to January 2014, along with a similar role at Atkins from September 2004 to October 2006. Neil earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Applications and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Economics from Queen's University Belfast and has additional educational credentials from Edinburgh Napier University.
