Christopher Areson

Christopher Areson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Partner and Managing Director at PJT Partners since May 2021, Christopher previously held the role of Managing Director at Apollo Global Management LLC from January 2019 to May 2021, focusing on Private Equity and Natural Resources. Christopher's earlier tenure at Credit Suisse from July 2004 to January 2019 included positions as Director, where responsibilities encompassed leading the Secondary Advisory Business for the Americas, and roles as Associate and Analyst in the Private Fund Group, assisting in capital raising for private equity funds. Additionally, Christopher worked as a Summer Associate at NERA Economic Consulting in 2003. Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Yale University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
