Eduard van Wyk is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and legal practice. Currently serving as a Partner at PJT Partners since September 2024, Eduard previously held significant roles at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director and Co-head of Industrials EMEA from May 2011 to September 2024, and as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG from July 2007 to May 2011, where Eduard led the Transport & Infrastructure sector. Additional experience includes serving as Director and Head of Transport & Logistics EMEA at HSBC from 2000 to 2006, a Foreign Qualified Lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP from 1998 to 2000, and Attorney at Edward Nathan & Friedland from January 1995 to May 1998. Eduard’s academic background includes an MSc in Finance from London Business School, an H Dip in Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a B Com LLB in Business, Finance, and Law from the University of Pretoria.
