Mike Larkin

Mike Larkin is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the District Supervisor of Learning, Teaching, and Assessment at Plainedge School District since August 2019, where responsibilities include managing district data, overseeing educational technology integration, and serving as a liaison to ed-tech companies. Prior to this role, Mike worked at the NYC Department of Education for over a decade in various capacities, including Director of Wellness Systems and Director of System Design and Integration, managing software development and public data systems across numerous schools. With a background in physical education and health education, Mike also has experience as a project manager and educator, supporting teachers and students while focusing on wellness and fitness initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Excelsior University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the State University of New York at Cortland.
