Akbar Khan

Akbar Khan, P.Eng, PMP, currently serves as a Well Integrity & Workover Engineer at Plains Midstream Canada, specializing in workover and completion programs as well as cavern, well, and wellhead integrity management since May 2022. Prior to this role, Akbar worked as a Well Integrity Data Analyst at DarkVision Technologies Inc., where the focus was on data analysis related to integrity issues and streamlining workflows. Akbar's experience also includes a position as a Well Integrity Geoscientist with Weatherford, handling cement evaluation and casing integrity analysis. Previous roles include Strategic Projects Leader at OilSERV, overseeing tenders and commercial bidding, and Wireline Field Engineer at Schlumberger, managing logging operations. Akbar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
