Nishath Sultana

Nishath Sultana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy, advocacy, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Policy, Advocacy, Influencing, and Campaign at Plan International since July 2023, Nishath has previously held significant roles, including Deputy Director of Advocacy and Justice for Children at World Vision and Head of Communications, Advocacy, and Gender Mainstreaming at Educo ONG. With a robust background in developing and implementing advocacy strategies, promoting child wellbeing, and managing education-related programs, Nishath has led national and global campaigns and engaged with various stakeholders to influence policy changes. Nishath's earlier experiences include coordinating gender justice and diversity programs at BRAC, overseeing Second Chance Education projects at Save the Children, and teaching English at Daffodil International University. Nishath holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from the University of Dhaka.
