Pierre Guillevic

Pierre Guillevic is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and engineering. Currently serving as Science Lead for Biomass at Planet since September 2022, Pierre previously held the role of Business Engineer at VINCI Energies from March 2020 to September 2022. Academic contributions include positions as Associate Research Professor at both the University of Maryland and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center between August 2015 and March 2020, along with a tenure as Senior Research Scientist at MetService in 2018. Pierre has also worked as a Scientist at JPL from January 2014 to July 2015 and as a Research Assistant Professor at the Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites - North Carolina from July 2010 to December 2013. Earlier career roles include Business Engineer at Vinci Energies, Research Scientist at IFSTTAR, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre National d'Études Spatiales. Pierre holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, attained in 1999.
