Matthieu Baret

Matthieu Baret is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment and corporate development. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Eurazeo since April 2021, Matthieu previously held the position of Managing Partner and Partner at Idinvest Partners from 2005 to May 2021. Additional roles include membership on the Private Equity Advisory Board of Principles for Responsible Investment from 2015 to 2017, Corporate Development focusing on M&A at Italtel from 2003 to 2005, and investment management at Europatweb from 2000 to 2001. Matthieu has also served as a Marketing Manager for telecom/mobile at Capgemini and as Project Manager at Bouygues Telecom. Early career experience includes serving as a Navy officer in the Marine Nationale. Matthieu holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec.
