Mr. Doug Becker is co-founder of Sterling Partners, Platinum Dermatology Partners’ primary investor and a leading investor in education and other industries, with a portfolio of more than $2.6 billion in management assets.

With a long history of success in higher education and tutoring, Mr. Becker is Founder and Chairman of Laureate Education, Inc., the largest higher education company in the world, with over 1 million students enrolled at nearly 70 campus-based and online institutions. Under Mr. Becker’s leadership, Laureate became the largest Certified B Corp™ and the first publicly traded company organized as a Public Benefit Corporation. Prior to founding Laureate, Mr. Becker served as Chairman and CEO of Laureate’s predecessor, Sylvan Learning Systems. As part of his commitment to community service, Mr. Becker is a member of the Board of Trustees for Johns Hopkins Medicine and serves as the Chair of the Board of the International Youth Foundation, a global NGO focusing on the needs of youth in over 100 countries, including many of the most impoverished nations.
