Mark Triplett

Mark Triplett serves as an Advisor at Backbone since December 2022 and has held the position of Vice President of Intellectual Property at Sonos, Inc. since March 2011, where contributions have significantly influenced the evolution of audio technology. Previously, Mark worked as an Advisor for Synapse Technology Corporation, Capella Partners, and AKI Movement Laboratory, aiding in advancements in defense intelligence, investor connections, and wearable technology. Mark's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Patents at Trading Technologies, where a valuable patent portfolio was established, and as a Law Clerk/Patent Agent at MBHB, a Chicago patent law firm. Mark holds a Doctor of Law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
