Marko Ciric

Marko Ciric is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in engineering leadership and backend development. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Pleo since February 2024, previous roles include Head of Engineering at EQL Finance and Senior Software Engineer at Pleo. Marko's experience at Klarna spanned over four years, during which time contributions included Principal Engineer, Domain Architect, and Lead Software Engineer. Other notable positions held include Senior Software Engineer at HERE Technologies, CTO at TruckTrack, and Senior Software Engineer at EZDERM. Marko’s expertise covers multi-tenant microservices architecture using NodeJS, Golang, Spring MVC, and Java, with a strong focus on product design and team leadership. Marko holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade.
