Haruna Isiyaku Umar Aislt

Haruna Isiyaku Umar AISLT is an experienced academic editor currently working at the Public Library of Science (PLOS) since March 2023. With a robust background in scientific research and laboratory work, Haruna serves as a senior laboratory technologist at the Federal University of Technology Akure since December 2014 and has held various positions in teams focused on computational therapeutic discovery aimed at addressing diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Previously, Haruna worked as a medical laboratory officer during the National Youth Service Corps at General Hospital and has experience in customer service and industrial training. Haruna holds a Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology specialized in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic and a National Diploma from Abdu Gusau Polytechnic.
