Samuel Hinshaw

Samuel Hinshaw is a Software Engineer at Plotly since March 2024, focusing on the development of App Studio to enhance tooling for data scientists. Previously, Samuel served at AbCellera from October 2018 to November 2023, where roles included Senior Software Developer, Team Lead, Technical Lead, and Software Developer, contributing significantly to data visualization initiatives and integrating various platforms with electronic lab notebooks. Earlier experience includes a Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, studying intraocular autoimmune disease. Samuel earned a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from The University of British Columbia (2015-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh (2009-2013).
