Dan Appleman

Dan Appleman is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and education. Currently serving as an author at Pluralsight since January 2013, Dan has produced a variety of educational courses. As CEO of Desaware Inc. since 1991, Dan has led a component vendor specializing in .NET software. Additionally, Dan co-founded Full Circle Insights, holding the title of CTO until December 2023, and co-founded Apress, a notable publisher of technical books, from 2000 to 2004. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Irvine, earned between 1976 and 1980.
