Betty Ly

Betty Ly is currently a Board Member at PMA.LA. Betty was previously a Senior Product Manager at Convoso from January 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Sales Associate and Back of House Specialist at Away from January 2019 to December 2021. Betty Ly started their career as a Program Manager at Innovation Boulevard from January 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they fulfilled government and industry mandates by planning and organizing monthly business seminars and company socials with an overall satisfaction of >95%. Betty also collaborated with the Director of Marketing to determine marketing direction and to maintain company brand, while managing social media channels: Twitter, LinkedIn, Mailchimp and Google Analytics, utilized Canva to design event and marketing material. Betty Ly also enriched office efficiency through equipment procurement, organized office procedures and operations, developed a file management system through G-suite, oversaw company’s email management, maintained database of company documentation. In addition, they collaborated with the CEO to develop budget, forecast upcoming revenue and expenses, worked with accountants as the designated bookkeeper. Betty provided direct support with calendar management, travel arrangements, presentation materials, assisted with fulfilling various contractual agreements.

Betty Ly has a certificate in product management from BrainStation, a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Simon Fraser University, and various certifications in management, strategy, project management, and scrum.
