Mohamed Salem is currently a Research Fellow at The National Institutes of Health, focusing on the impact of Glioblastoma-Derived Exosomes in tumor progression and brain tumor microenvironment communication. As a POET Never Satisfied Scholar and Global Lion Mentor at Penn State University, Mohamed demonstrates leadership in various initiatives, including founding the Neuro-innovation and Leadership Book Club and the Fight Against Cancer Club, which educates students on cancer awareness. Previous experiences include serving as a Brain Health Intern at the Brain Health Alliance and participating in alcohol media research at Brown University.
