Matheus Iglesias

Matheus Iglesias is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently employed at Polarium since January 2023, with prior roles at Scania Group, Alstom (formerly Signalling Solutions Limited), Sylog Sverige AB, and Embraer. At Scania Group, Matheus served as both an Embedded Software Engineer and Software Architect, focusing on real-time embedded software for an ECU. At Alstom, responsibilities included developing safety-critical embedded software for SIL-4 rail products. Previous experience encompasses team leadership in embedded software development for ARM Cortex-R MCUs and extensive work on military aircraft software integration at Embraer. Matheus holds a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Additional formative experiences include internships at Vale and UFES, involving project planning and research in bio-inspired algorithms.
