Pasi Kemppainen serves as the Chief of Education and Research and Superintendent at Poliisiammattikorkeakoulu - Police University College since May 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing International Relations, Project Services, and lecturing at the Bachelor and Master Degree levels, as well as leading the Police Dog Training Centre since April 2023. Prior to this role, Kemppainen was Chief Superintendent at the National Police Board Finland from January 2014 to April 2017, and played significant leadership roles within TISPOL European Traffic Police Network from 2004 until March 2017, including Director and President. Additional experience includes serving as the Head of International Relations at the National Traffic Police from October 2003 to December 2013. Kemppainen holds a Master’s degree in Public Law and Leadership from the University of Tampere.
