Simona Lightfoot

Simona Lightfoot currently serves as the Head of Partnerships for EMEA at POLITICO Europe, a position held since April 2022, following a tenure as Managing Director at POLITICO from April 2017 to December 2021. In these roles, Simona has focused on creating innovative solutions for client engagement and developing robust event marketing strategies for high-profile clients. Prior experience includes holding key positions at the Atlantic Council, where responsibilities encompassed business development and strategic initiatives within Europe programs and international security, and at GLOBSEC, leading corporate partnerships and editorial efforts. Simona's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Relations from Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici, supplemented by studies at KU Leuven.
