David Beresford

David Beresford has over two decades of experience in the private sector, with a focus on strategy and business development. David is currently the Director at Pollinate, a role they have held since 2019.

Prior to their current role, Beresford served as the Group Executive Director, Strategy and Business Development for Equiniti from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's growth strategy as well as the sales, account, marketing, and solutions teams. Under Beresford's leadership, Equiniti saw significant revenue and ebit growth, with average revenue growth of 13.5% and ebitda growth of 15% between 2014 and 2016.

Before joining Equiniti, Beresford served as the Managing Director for Serco from 2008 to 2013. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's turnaround following a period of financial difficulty. Beresford was successful in returning the company to profitability and growth, with revenues increasing from £2.3 billion in 2008 to £3.8 billion in 2013.

Beresford has also held roles at Previous Company: Carte Blanche Wines Ltd, Pollinate International, and ANIANE. David began their career as a writer before moving into the business world.

Beresford holds a degree in English from the University of Oxford.

David Beresford's educational career includes earning a BA Hons 1st Class in French, Economics, and Politics from Loughborough University. David also attended King Edward's School in Bath.
