Eddy Su

Eddy Su is a co-founder at PolyAI, a start-up pre-accelerator which selects purely on the basis of technical talent and provides an intensive six-month programme designed to test teams and ideas, and push them to their full potential.

Before joining PolyAI, Eddy was an Entrepreneur In Residence at another start-up accelerator called Entrepreneur First. During their time there, they worked with the team to test and push the boundaries of start-up ideas.

Eddy has also interned at Facebook as a research intern with the Facebook AI Research team. Eddy's manager at Facebook was Professor Yann LeCun, and their advisor was Dr Yuandong Tian. During their time at Facebook, Eddy worked on designing automatic stress testing on business cloud storage.

Eddy started their career as a software engineer intern at Trend Micro. During their time there, they designed automatic stress testing on business cloud storage and was awarded Best Intern in the final evaluation.

Eddy Su has a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Eddy also has a Master of Science in Communication Engineering from National Taiwan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
