Ibon Odriozola

Ibon Odriozola, Ph.D., currently serves as Tech Transfer Manager at POLYMAT, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Ibon worked in various roles including Strategic Product Manager at Constantia Flexibles and R&D Director at Poligal, known for producing BOPP and CPP films for the food industry. Other notable positions include Head of Innovation for Pharma Laminates at Constantia Flexibles, Head of Polymers & Composites Unit at CIDETEC, and Principal Scientist in the Biomaterials Unit there. Ibon has academic experience as an Associate Professor at UPV/EHU, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Université de Strasbourg, and a Visiting Research Scientist at the University of Leeds. Ibon holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a Licentiate degree in Chemistry from Universidad del País Vasco, along with an Erasmus studentship at Trinity College Dublin.
