Paul Tastenhoye

Paul Tastenhoye has extensive experience in program management and production within the biotechnology and chemical industries. Currently serving as Green Program Manager PPL and Head of Program Management at PolyPeptide Group since January 2017, Paul previously held multiple leadership roles at Lonza, including Head of Program Management Peptides/Braine and Product Manager Peptides, from April 2006 to April 2024. Earlier positions include senior project leader in process engineering and production manager at UCB-Bioproducts, as well as production manager for polyester powders. Paul's career began at UCB-Chemicals, where roles included pilot manager and R&D responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a Doctor in Agriculture Engineering with a focus on heterogeneous catalysis from KU Leuven, where Paul studied from 1979 to 1984. Research work was conducted at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from September 1984 to December 1987.
