Shane Steffanson

Shane Steffanson is an experienced information security and database architecture professional, currently serving as the Senior Manager (Head) of Information Security at the Port of Portland since May 2022, overseeing security operations across three airports and four marine terminals. Prior to this role, Shane held the position of Director of IT Infrastructure and Information Security Officer at Pacific Seafood from January 2017 to March 2022, leading teams responsible for Information Technology Infrastructure and enterprise security. Shane's extensive background includes significant roles at WebMD Health Services, Troutdale Police Department, Vesta Corp, and US Bank, along with an educational foundation that includes a Master of Liberal Arts in Information Management Systems from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from American Military University. Shane's career highlights also feature military service as a Flight Engineer in the US Navy.
