Iris Heemskerk

Iris Heemskerk is a Project Engineer at the Port of Rotterdam since September 2020, specializing in Port Development and Nautical Infrastructure. Prior experience includes roles as a Working Student at ProRail from September 2018 to August 2020, and a Graduate Intern at the Port of Rotterdam from May 2019 to May 2020. Educational involvement includes serving on the Board of Studies at Technische Universiteit Delft from September 2017 to September 2018, contributing to the quality assurance of academic programs. Iris was also part of Het Waterbouwdispuut from July 2017 to September 2018, focusing on educational affairs to foster collaboration between students and industry. Iris holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Hydraulic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where studies spanned from 2013 to 2020, following secondary education at College Hageveld from 2006 to 2012.
