Lieselot Kerssen

Lieselot Kerssen has extensive experience in urban development and social housing, currently working as an Adviseur Leefomgeving flexibele pool at Portaal since October 2015, where project-based work focuses on addressing practical issues and fostering vision development in various regions, particularly Arnhem and Utrecht. As Adviseur Leefomgeving, Lieselot collaborates with tenants and stakeholders to improve neighborhood living conditions. In addition, Lieselot co-founded DGTzorg in January 2020, providing professional care services alongside Omar Ahbouk. Earlier roles include serving as Policy Advisor at Beter Wonen, Project Leader for social development at Volkshuisvesting Arnhem, and a Housing Employee also at Volkshuisvesting Arnhem. Lieselot holds a Doctorandus degree in social geography from Radboud University and has pursued additional professional development courses.
