Robbert Jan van Rooijen

Robbert Jan van Rooijen is an experienced strategic advisor and project leader specializing in participation, stakeholder management, and support for renovation and construction projects. Currently serving as Sociaal Projectleider at Portaal since March 2022 with a focus on the regions of Amersfoort, Soest, Arnhem, and Nijmegen, Robbert Jan also operates Van Rooijen Advies since February 2015, providing expertise in project and environment management, public affairs, and community building. Previous roles include project leadership in neighborhood development at Woonstad Rotterdam, management in public affairs at NS, and process management in urban renewal at Ymere. Robbert Jan has also contributed to various municipal projects and has a strong educational background in Built Environment and Spatial Planning, holding degrees from the University of Amsterdam, Utrecht University, and HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
