David Townley

David Townley is an engineer currently employed at Porter since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from September 2022 to April 2023, where David designed the core logic for a new service managing EBS server fleet health and improved the internal data center ticketing system significantly. Additional roles include data consultant for Local Bounti, conference assistant for the Thurman Arnold Project, IT intern at VanEck, research assistant at Giant Oak, Inc., and summer intern at OC&C Strategy Consultants. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Yale University, where David also participated in research on random chromatic graph theory, and a high school diploma from Rye Country Day School.
