Camedra Jefferson

Camedra Jefferson, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Funded Programs at Portland Public Schools, where responsibilities include managing supplementary funding for initiatives aimed at enhancing the educational experience for Black, Indigenous, and Students of Color (BIPOC). Prior experience includes leadership roles at YES Prep Public Schools, focusing on instructional technology and support for girls of color in STEM, as well as various positions at Houston ISD, where Camedra led literacy initiatives and managed gifted and talented programs. Camedra's educational background includes a Doctorate in K-12 Professional Leadership and Policy Studies and multiple master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Reading Specialist domains from prominent Texas universities.
